Poker Run

Posted by Lou and Diane Marett on March 13, 2013 at 4:05pm 0 Comments

Wow!  Karl did a spectacular job on the Poker Run last Saturday.  He put a great deal of time and effort into making sure that we all had a good time.  We never would have seen the Treasure Coast around Jupiter, Stuart and Ft. The poker run is getting close, so if you will be attending and haven't RSVP'd yet, please let me know as soon as possible. I will need to give the restaurant a head count. Also, if someone is interested in assisting me hand out the playing cards, please let me know asap.

Thanks, Karl

We have a 1990 blue Miata with 64500 original miles. The timing belt has not been changed and I want to replace it and need suggestions on where to have it done and if I should change the water pump at the same time. The pump has never been changed. I have changed the belt and the radiator hoses are in good shape. I live on Brickell Key. Thanks for suggestions. Any idea of the cost? '.

I have a '99 and did the timing belt myself. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but then again, I do work on aircraft. I bought a tool to hold the cams in place, slid the belt off and put the new one on. As far as the pump goes, I have 130,000 on my pump, but it had no sign of leaking when I did the belt change.
