Update Mazda Toolbox app to update navigation

I recently updated my Mazda Toolbox app which allows me to update maps on my 2017 Miata. You remove the little SD card from the navigation system and update it on your computer, then put it back in the car to enjoy the updated maps.

Mostly, I use Google Maps and Waze on road trips with my iPhone, but its best to keep the car’s own navigation system up to date as well.

There is a rumor that Mazda and Lotus have been consulting on an electric version of the MX-5 for the future. Obviously, no way to keep these below the 2,000 pound current weight of the MX-5, but who knows what the future might bring.

Top Down Season is around the corner

South Florida Miata Club - Road ripThere is a touch of cool in the breeze these days, and October could bring a change in weather with the change of seasons. We love driving with the top down when it’s pleasant and it makes us truly appreciated the convertible aspect of our cars.

it’s also time to consider another season of upcoming road trips and gatherings. Take a few moments to think about places you’re like to visit and road trip adventures you’d like to experience, and share them here with your fellow members on the web site and our Facebook page.
