    Your Miata Story

    Club Presidents and Club Members,

We’re looking to hear from you and your club members about their MX-5 Miata stories!

As Mazda begins to celebrate 30 years of this iconic roadster, we want to start by sharing our passionate owner stories out with the world. We want to hear about the places you’ve discovered, the people you discovered with and all open-air experiences on the best roads around.

Head over to http://insidemazda.mazdausa.com/share-your-story and fill out the story submission form. From there, our team will go through the stories and reach out to owners to schedule an interview.

We’d love for you to share this with your club members and encourage everyone to fill out the form.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and your members.

We encourage you to share this post on your social channels to help spread the word.

    Best Regards, Mazda USA

Junior Orange Bowl Parade – December 2nd

Our next great club event is the Junior Orange Bowl Parade in Coral Gables. It is always a fun day decorating our cars and driving the parade route to the cheers of families lining the streets. The parade is also televised so it is a perfect way to advertise our club and also get our members in the holiday spirit. Please sign up on our web page so you don’t miss out.

Hope to see everyone joining in on the fun!

      Upcoming Holiday Events

We have two wonderful events coming up in the next few weeks that will help get you in the holiday spirit.

On December 2nd, we travel to Coral Gables for the Junior Orange Bowl Parade. We decorate our cars and drive the parade route to the cheers of adoring crowds. This event is televised so it is a great advertisement for our club. RSVP

On December 9th, celebrate the holiday season at LaBamba Restaurant with a few adult beverages (coquito), a gift exchange and a wonderful dinner followed by a top down drive through Tradewinds Park to see the Christmas lights show.
We will finish off our holiday celebration going to Cherry Smash Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor to enjoy some great home made ice cream.

I hope you can plan on attending both events. Please sign up on our events pages accordingly.

            Summer Crush Cruise-In Success

Thank you to all our members who joined us on our road trip to Summer Crush Winery for the Miata Club Cruise In event today. We had 25 cars meet up at Dunkin Donuts for the ride up to Fort Pierce. The overall turnout was far more than I expected, 110 cars from all over the state. It was a fun day and hopefully we can make this an annual event.

Kudos to Mark Gilbert. A lot of hard work and coordination goes into organizing an event that draws 110 Miatas from all over the state. The day at Summer Crush was a spectacular success and Mark cannot be thanked enough.

The most rewarding aspect of the day besides meeting all the members from the other clubs was the fact we had 25 of our club members join us for the ride up to the winery. Hopefully we can keep this great momentum going into the new year!

            Mountain Road Trip

A group of club members went to the Blue Ridge Mountains to drive the Tail of the Dragon and the other great roads throughout the area. We were blessed with crisp beautiful Fall weather and the leaves were changing color. Anyone who is a car enthusiast and loves to drive twisty roads which our Miata’s are made for should definitely plan on doing this trip at least once in their lifetime. It is most assuredly a bucket list item to be cherished always. Enjoy the video of our trip courtesy of Jeff Cooper.

For those of you who have never experienced driving the Dragon, here is Jeff’s video of his run down.
